lovely
Thanks so much. I used the bas relief filter in PSE.
Nice! It looks metallic!
It does! I just found the bas relief in PSE, and this is my first try with it.
Stunning, just stunning Sandy. Love this one!
Thank you. The original shot was a birght orange sunset.
Love the work of art. The lines are beautiful. And again, I am drawn to the simplicity of you’re prose.
Thanks! I do enjoy simplicity.
Looks like a metal etching, Sandy. Does show the beautiful “bones” of the tree.
Yes, it does, and I like it. Will write a note to you later.
Very interesting treatment! I like it!
I would like to take a lot of credit, but all I did was click on the filter.
I love this, Sandy. Reminds me of a reverse stencil. It’s awesome!
I was very surprised it came out so well. This filter is going to come in handy at Christmas.
I love love love the rich textures in this. I am imagining this hanging on my wall…it looks beautiful!
If you want it, let me know, and I will send it to you in a larger forn. I am trying to keep my photos smaller so they don’t show up gigantic on the WordPress reader. This one is only 375 x 500, but it looks larger(and distorted) on the reader.
I like that effect – it really adds an interesting dimension to bare branches.
Yes, it definitely would work better on certain things. I look the look of naked trees, and it works well on them.
What a super effect you have achieved in this haiga…
Thanks, but I have to repeat, it was quite easy.
Hi Sandy
The photo is really dramatic and impressive I thought the poem was really really well written.
Guy
Thanks Guy, the paring down of an idea is fun, and good exercise for the brain.
beautifully done.
Thank you, Francina.
Well-penned, Sandy!
Thank you so much,
like it; leaves some for the viewers imagination, i can picture in my mind the ‘crow’s skate’
much love…
Thanks for stopping in. Isn’t life all about imagination?
Your haiku is really good.
Thanks, Thomas. I am not good at crosswords, but enjoy working my brain this way.
Wow – love the silver bones of winter. Fabulous shot!
Thanks, Fiona. I have used the filter several times since this photo. It seems to be best with shots like this.
This IS stunning! Brenda
Isn’t it, though? I can’t take the credit for the natural beauty, or even the tech stuff. I just put them together.
Quite an effect here, like the “metal” look!
I know, isn’t that neat? This may be a holiday card.
you are beginning to inspire me to start writing poetry again, I keep coming back to this one
This is SO Gorgeous, Sandy–wow!
Thanks Caddo. This was a very nice surprise.
Just lovely–the braches look like they have etched in a mirror.
Thanks, it does look just like that.
beautiful words and photo, i love that effect you’ve used…
It seems to work the best on trees and similar shapes. This is the best so far for it. Bas Relief, in PSE 9
Such a great filter choice, so beautiful. It inspires me to learn about editing programs… someday
