I love this, Sandy.
(P.S. Soon I will be cutting lengths of yarn/wool with the children at my daycare and leaving them on the ground for the birds to gather, and possibly use to line their nests)

GASP!….How can one have a favourite crayon. To me that falls in the same ilk as liking one child over another. If it were not for crayolas I believe I would have grown up as a doctor, an accountant or perhaps a laywer -whew, talk about dodging a bullet.
Likes the outline of the black bird. Likes the haiku. And admits to having a soft spot for green on occasion -not exclusive to green beer either .
Oh, regarding the ghost post. I think I have all my problems ironed out. Will be posting the colour in my walk soon. Thank you for mentioning. T’was very kind of you. You will have too re-subscribe.
Thanks! The bottom of one of the white pines at the back of the yard has a beautiful lichen colony. I have been trying to get a decent shot of it. More of my favorite greens, you know.
Thanks! The wc filter in PSE 9 works differently on every shot. The one you use in PS is not the same at all, or else you have a special way of using it. Yours looks more like the real thing.
Thank you, Terry. Yesterday morning, I watched six crows chase a raven over the woods. I am wiondering why the larger birds never fight back. Is a gang of smaller birds that powerful?

Maybe I will do that, too. It is almost nesting time, isn’t it?
So beautiful, I’m touched
Thanks, Lorraine. I am thinking a sweater to wear with jeans. What do you think?
The birds in your area are so cooperative! (and I’m sure you have a great camera and great patience!!)
I live in a crow haven. And, yes, I have a good crow capturing camera!
Absolutely lovely!
Thank you. The wood behind my house is mostly white pine. I love the trees in all the shades I see through the day.
How sweetly said, and sweetly portrayed.
Thanks, Lance, This one of the places I can always find a crow.

Actually, I like all the greens, and blues. But not green beer!
I do use other colors to accent my greens and blues!
Nice effect! The bird really stands out against the green.
More than usual, and I have no idea why. I know that is was shot was done with a manual setting, and that sometimes makes a darker shot.
I love the colours and words.

The filter made it so painting-like. I can see where the inspiration for that haiku came from. Another favorite for me.

Terrific image! That’s a real keeper!

I like the way the bird stands out, Sandy. Very nice haiga…
Thanks, I am wondering about that, too. But, happy!
So charming, Sandy. I can’t wait for the world to green up again!
That is the good thing about looking out toward my piney woods. Green!
I love all things green. This is an interesting composition Sandy. Love the background.
Wouldn’t it be a nice wool sweater, Geralldine?
Thank you for following my blog, Exploration Art. May you have an amazing Year of the Water Dragon.
You are welcome, Ledia. I was there once before, but just found it again.
Oh, I love this!! My fave crayon is “periwinkle”! Have a blessed day.
I like that color, too.
It must be such a great feeling of accomplishment when you get a shot like this. That green is like a painting. The piece itself simple and beautiful.
Yes, it is. But, I must tell you that the crows are here all the time. I get lots of photo opportunities with them.
so gorgeous – hard to believe the original photo could be improved
Do you have more crows or ravens?
crows in town, ravens in the mountains. Or so I am told. The crows look big enough to be ravens.
