one small wish before the night lets go~ a safe journey
Tagged: haiku, moon, nature
How calming – the fading moon and the start of a new day. The tree looks like it’s raising its arms to the sky in supplication.
It probably is! Trees reach for the sun, why not the moon?
This is beautiful, Sandy. Brenda
Thanks, Brenda. Any spring flowers showing up out there, yet?
I agree, this is beautiful. I love ‘before the night lets go’. Nice image with your verse.
Thanks, it is my favorite time of the day, and I mean the 24 hour day.
The slim cresent is lovely and delicate next to the dark shadow of the fir.
I almost missed it, it was so fine.
That gentle gradation in the sky is so so lovely.
We get such a nice view of the sunrise here. I see most of them, except for summer. I just can’t get up that early every day.
Great photo, and your title is perfect!
Yes, I am sure you are aware of the magic of that time.
Beautiful words and image.
Thanks! I think this shot was last month’s moon.
sweet words
Thanks!
So beautiful, Sandy. Both photo and haiku. I love that inbetween time.
Thanks, Talon. There is something special about that time, for sure.
I can imagine you standing out there with your camera. This is very evocative and I love the verse.
Thanks! How is the book coming? You are a multi-talented lady!
how simple and fresh, I love it! thank you for everything Sandy
Thank you!
beautiful! beautiful! and such sweet words. Well done Sandy, love it!
Thanks you! It seems we get lots more orange and gold sunrises, so I was glad not to miss this pink and purple one.
Nice post.
Thanks so much.
Love it! You capture some nice moon photos. The moon is so small, but is the center of attention. The photo just wouldn’t be the same without it.
I agree! Some month, I am going to capture all phases of the the moon.
Gentle, subtle, a remarkable slice of life. Thanks.
I should have named my blog Morning Woman!
I just jotted down a twilight haiku tonight. Loving it here as always.
And, you are most welcome here. Thanks so much.
