That blue is my favorite color, and a couple of years ago, I was able to find a set of heavy pots for seven dollars. They have been adorning the garden since then.
Lovely haiku and photo. They match perfectly. The tangerine color is beautiful with the water drops. (I read somewhere that tangerine is the color for 2012. Not sure if that’s accurate, but it sounds good.)
This is a lovely picture and poem, Sandy.
This particular shade of orange, and this flower are one of my favourites.
Love the quote about dreams as well!
P.S. I notice you also like johnny jump ups – they were always plentiful in my garden, and I even transplanted them all around the large trees in my yard – I like them alot.
Thanks for this nice promise of summer!
Brenda
I do that, too! There are several places at the front of the garden where the johnny jump ups get replanted. I even have a few sky blue wild pansies in the field, but have left them where they are.
I had orange pansies last summer, too – they looked great with some purple ones nearby. Now, you’re making me dream of summer with you – and it’s snowing here!
Which reminds me, if we don’t get snow dumped on us overnight, I should go out to the garden tomorrow and see if the johny jump ups I planted last year survived…What pretty pansies.
I have some with tight buds. Strange too, since it has been so warm. I have had flowers on them in late February under the pine trees, and that is in a normal winter.
I love these little orange pansies… I haven’t seen any here yet… pretty much the standard purple, yellow and white are available as of now. Did these live through your winter? Love the photo with the blue background!
Dreams are illustrations from the book your soul is writing about you.

Just what I needed this morning
Thanks, Christine. These orange poppies are already up in the garden.
Lovely flowers, poem.
Thanks! We are due to have a bit of snow today, but I have seedlings on the sill, so I am feeling springy!
Wow!! I can feel the vibrancy of summer in your picture!!!!
Only a couple of more months until flower time!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Beautiful picture, Sandy. Are these REALLY up in your garden? Wow. Your words are beautiful, too!
Just the little green plants. This shot was taken last year.
I do have johnny jumps ups with buds, but then I have had them bloom in February in protected places in other years.
lovely
Thanks so much Rachel.
Simply beautiful, Sandy.
I hope I can find pansies this color again. It does go well with blue.
Such beautiful colors in this photograph! Wonderful shot! Warms my day.
That blue is my favorite color, and a couple of years ago, I was able to find a set of heavy pots for seven dollars. They have been adorning the garden since then.
These look good enough to eat. I taste apricot!
I agree! It won’t be long now. Pansies are the first garden flower on sale at the stands, here.
Super colours in your photo and the raindrops are the icing on the cake, Sandy. Nice post…
Thanks, this is one of my favorite color combinations, and I manage to use it somewhere every year.
What a lovely poem – and those flowers are so delightful.
Thanks, I like them, too. Pansies are prettiest here, in the cool weather, and the spring wouldn’t be spring without them.
I think I have to steal this picture from you ! LOL just kidding…beautiful shot Sandy
You are more than welcome to it, Joanna.
OK, this says it all, so perfectly composed, and the photo is luscious!
Thanks, Hey I just spent a long time going through the lists on Nature Blog Network looking for Gardenpath. I forgot where I put it!
You saved a great photo for now. It brightened my day!
Thanks, I like it, too.
Have you been up to Buttercup Ridge to see the flowers in the last couple of weeks?
Last week, but the petals were not fully open yet. It’s almost a month later than last year. We just haven’t had the warm sunny days.
What a beautiful delicate flower. I’m having winter dreams at the moment in the midst of summer’s end.
I’ll trade you seasons!

I was hoping to get more of this color in the spring. Guess I will have to be at it early.
reading this made me feel all dreamy. lovely words…
Thanks! There is something about a homemade quilt that makes for peaceful dreams.
This is a lovely picture and poem, Sandy.

Beautiful color! Great flowers.
Thanks so much.
Beautiful words and gorgeous photo.
If I can find these again, I will fill the blue pots with them. Love this shade of pansy.
Love pansies and these, faces washed clean, are so peachy gorgeous, Sandy.
Do you like the solid ones better, too? I like the sky blue color second best.
I had orange pansies last summer, too – they looked great with some purple ones nearby. Now, you’re making me dream of summer with you – and it’s snowing here!
Barb., snow in a good thing up in the mountains where you live. I am so glad you are able to get out this month.
Which reminds me, if we don’t get snow dumped on us overnight, I should go out to the garden tomorrow and see if the johny jump ups I planted last year survived…What pretty pansies.

Gorgeous capture!
This is such a peaceful and lovely photo
I feel very peaceful in my garden, thank you!
